How we verify what we teach before it reaches a classroom.
A formula that works on a tidy sample file can break the moment it meets a real Facebook Ads export with renamed campaigns and inconsistent date formats. Here is what happens before any technique gets taught.
Every formula is tested against messy exports, not clean samples
Before a VLOOKUP or IF example makes it into a session, it gets run against anonymised exports that include the small inconsistencies real accounts produce: a campaign renamed halfway through a quarter, a currency symbol Sheets misreads, a date column that switches format after a spreadsheet is reopened on a different device. If the formula only works on a perfect dataset, it gets rebuilt until it survives an imperfect one.
Dashboard logic is checked for what happens when new data lands
A dashboard that looks correct once is not the same as one that stays correct after five more weeks of exports are pasted in. Each dashboard structure taught in session two is stress tested by adding rows, adding a new campaign name, and adding a week with zero spend, to see whether totals and charts still behave.
Chart choices are reviewed by someone outside marketing
The visuals taught in session three are shown, before the course runs, to a person without a marketing background, usually someone in finance or operations. If they cannot describe the trend within roughly thirty seconds, the chart type or labelling gets revised. This is closer to how a CEO actually looks at a slide during a busy week.
Curriculum is revisited whenever GA4 or Ads Manager changes its export
Google updates the structure of GA4 and Facebook Ads Manager exports periodically, sometimes moving a column, renaming a metric, or changing how a date range is labelled. Course materials are reviewed after any change like this is noticed, so the pivot table and dashboard instructions match what participants will actually see when they open their own file.
Nothing taught depends on installing or buying additional software
Every technique is verified to work inside standard Google Sheets, without add-ons, paid plugins, or external analytics platforms. This is checked deliberately, since the course does not sell or promote any analytics software. The aim is a skill that keeps working on a free Google account.
